Matthew S. McHale is an associate in the law firm of DeForest Koscelnik Yokitis Kaplan & Berardinelli. Matt is a civil litigator, with experience litigating in fields such as:
     • products liability law;
     • business and commercial law, including the Uniform Commercial Code;
     • aviation litigation defense;
     • employment law, including federal immigration law;
     • eminent domain law;
     • insurance coverage;
     • securities law; and
     • the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Matt has authored or co-authored briefs at the U.S. Supreme Court (two petitions for certiorari and an amicus brief), the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, federal district courts, and Pennsylvania state courts.

Matt graduated from Yale Law School in 2003, having served as an Articles Editor on the Yale Law Journal, and went on to clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in the chambers of the Hon. Kermit V. Lipez. He graduated cum laude from Harvard College in 1999.

Matt is admitted to the Pennsylvania bar.
